“Everyone can have a bad day.” -Nikki Haley
Everyone can have a bad day. Watching people on social media change their profile pictures in support of a cause or crisis, and sit waiting patiently for the likes and comments. But hashtags don’t save lives.
Or listening to the citizens who come to public forums to offer complaints and grievances about the new trash collection times. But protesters don’t vote in elections.
Or getting up early every day to offer morning prayer, remembering the poor and hoping that God will “refresh” them. But the poor don’t come to mass.
Or when you remember that, even though you won, you’re still outnumbered 115 to one.
